A slight dog leg to left over the mounds requiring a good drive avoiding the single bunker on the left will leave a medium to long into a large flat green with sentry bunkers either side of the approach into the green.

After the walk up the path from the 14th, I still love the look of this hole as you reach the tee. It is one of my favourite holes anywhere. It is all set out in front of you and you can see exactly what you need to do. I take my driver, aiming at the left edge of the fairway bunker and try to fade it away from it. The cross bunkers don't come into play off the tee for me. This leaves me a mid to long iron to a reasonably flat green. Again middle of the green for me and I am happy. I have always found this green a little tricky to read, so again, if I can 2 putt and walk away with a par, thats fine with me.
