A long narrow green on this first short hole, well guarded on all sides with four bunkers.
The Pro’s View
185 yards off the back tee this one, and can, depending on the wind, be anything from a 7 iron up to a 3 wood. Again, I never get tempted to look at the flag and am just aiming for the middle of the green. Whatever you do, don’t hit it in the deep bunkers to the left of the green, or a certain bogey or double awaits!! I always make sure I am very aware of where the wind is coming from here, as the large water tower on your right does have an effect. There are some subtle little borrows on this green, so take care even on a short putt. A good par 3.
