Thursday 26th January saw the re-start of the Hull and District Alliance. The first event of 2012 was held at Withernsea Golf Club. It was a very wet and dark start to the day but the Hornsea pairing of David Close and Tony Close must have enjoyed the conditions that improved as the day went on. A score of 65 saw the Hornsea pair win on a last 9 count back. This is a great result for Hornsea who are now 9 shots clear in the Victor Hurdle Cup. Very well played and keep up the good work team.
