Visitors : Terms & Conditions
Visitors are asked to respect the rules of the Club. These are available upon request. The following must be noted by any visitors to the Club:
Course
- All green-fees must be paid to either the Professional or the Secretary before you commence your round of golf.
- The Rules of Golf, as fixed from time to time by the R. & A. together with Local Rules additionally adopted by the Club shall be the rules of play.
- Dogs are not permitted on the course without the express permission of the Secretary.
- Visitors must commence their round at the 1st tee unless given express permission by the Secretary.
- All players who have fallen at least one clear hole behind must allow the following group of players to go through.
Dress Rules
Visitors must not use the car-park for changing when the Clubhouse is open. Members, Guest and Visitors are expected to maintain an appropriate standard of smart dress both on the course and in the Clubhouse at all times.
The following are NOT acceptable on the course or in the Clubhouse:
- Denim clothing of any variety
- Shell Suits/Track Suits/Leggings/Sun Tops
- Training Shoes
- Shorts unless they are of the tailored variety*
*Tailored shorts when worn should be just above the knee, they should have pockets and, in the case of gentlemen be front fastening and not tied at the waist. - Shorts of any description are NOT allowed in the Lounge or Dining Room after 8pm
Gentlemen
- Gentlemen must wear shirts with collars and sleeves, or a roll-neck sweater. Shirts must be tucked in at the waist.
- Gentlemen wearing shorts may wear either knee length socks, which must be pulled up at all times, or sport socks which must be predominantly white. Trainer socks/footlets are NOT permitted.
Ladies
- Ladies may wear shirts or blouses, with either a collar and sleeveless or round necked with sleeves. These need not be tucked in at the waist.
- Ladies playing in skirts or tailored shorts must wear socks or footlets in an appropriate colour. Shorts of any description are NOT allowed in the lounge or dining room after 8-00 p.m.
Golf Shoes
- Golf shoes must be worn by all players on the course.
