On a very warm windy day 30 teams contested the Hornsea Ladies  Open  am-am.

 

The format of 3/4 HC strokeplay had more than a few raised eyebrows at the signing in desk.  However that did not dampen the enthusiasm of the players once on the course.  The conditions proved more difficult than last year with the winning scores higher this year.

 

As always at these meetings so many positive comments regarding the course were received.  Thanks go to Gareth and his team . Also thanks go to Yvonne Wright, Sally Bird, Jan Elder, Sue Howell, Lindsay Ward, Ginette Evans, Jill Marshall and Sarah Stonier for starting or desk duties.  Without the help of these members it would be very difficult to ensure the competition ran smoothly.
